“May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.”

"This report is maybe 12-years-old. Parliament buried it, and it stayed buried till River dug it up. This is what they feared she knew. And they were right to fear because there's a whole universe of folk who are gonna know it, too. They're gonna see it. Somebody has to speak for these people. You all got on this boat for different reasons, but you all come to the same place. So now I'm asking more of you than I have before. Maybe all. Sure as I know anything I know this, they will try again. Maybe on another world, maybe on this very ground swept clean. A year from now, 10, they'll swing back to the belief that they can make people . . . better. And I do not hold to that. So no more running. I aim to misbehave." ~ Captain Malcom Reynolds

Language alert

For anyone wondering how much powder those dry-chemical fire extinguishers hold, the answer is "a metric shit-ton".

And the only response upon opening the back of your work truck and finding one has gone off is "Holy F*ck".

Which was then followed by four hours of cleaning and sweating in 105 degree heat.

So, that's how my day started...

Could be worse.

My daughter decided to throw a party when we were out of town.

"Someone" (still refuses to name the culprit) used the 20# bottle in my house.

Still have carpets that are stained by that stuff.

Set one off on the cab some day. At 60 mph. No it will nor help to roll the windows down. Takes only about a week to stop the truck. Passed out coughing my guts out. Passenger jump out at about 40. He faired better than I.

Am I the only one wondering how it went off to begin with?
