“May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.”

"This report is maybe 12-years-old. Parliament buried it, and it stayed buried till River dug it up. This is what they feared she knew. And they were right to fear because there's a whole universe of folk who are gonna know it, too. They're gonna see it. Somebody has to speak for these people. You all got on this boat for different reasons, but you all come to the same place. So now I'm asking more of you than I have before. Maybe all. Sure as I know anything I know this, they will try again. Maybe on another world, maybe on this very ground swept clean. A year from now, 10, they'll swing back to the belief that they can make people . . . better. And I do not hold to that. So no more running. I aim to misbehave." ~ Captain Malcom Reynolds

More genre fun

Ever since last year's Halloween tribute to Browncoats my wife and I have enjoyed Castle in the times we are able to watch. Tonight's episode is supposed to be a steampunk-style mystery, so hopefully good watching for all of us!

Castle is good TV.

I highly recommend it. Its on the short list of stuff I'm willing to watch these days, right up there with Burn Notice, and recently (and surpisingly) Hawaii Five O.

Five Oh is good for two reasons - One - It has Grace Park in it, and I'm man enough to admit that will get my attention at least for an episode...

And Two - Whoever has been handling the gun fight cheoreography knows a thing or two about guns. Outside of the usual hollywood flash, I've seen a LOT of good gun handling (fingers off the trigger til its time to pull said trigger) and lots of tactical reloads in smart spots.

The powers given to the main character may be something no Governor would ever get away with doing... (thank goodness) but else its been a good ride so far.

So, there you go - a little recommendation to go along with your Castle :)
