“May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.”

"This report is maybe 12-years-old. Parliament buried it, and it stayed buried till River dug it up. This is what they feared she knew. And they were right to fear because there's a whole universe of folk who are gonna know it, too. They're gonna see it. Somebody has to speak for these people. You all got on this boat for different reasons, but you all come to the same place. So now I'm asking more of you than I have before. Maybe all. Sure as I know anything I know this, they will try again. Maybe on another world, maybe on this very ground swept clean. A year from now, 10, they'll swing back to the belief that they can make people . . . better. And I do not hold to that. So no more running. I aim to misbehave." ~ Captain Malcom Reynolds

Bits & Pieces

- For those who are ranting because the .gov has decided not to release videos and pictures of the operation last weekend, please consider that a great deal of sensitive information might be affected by this as well. Tactics, techniques and procedures are closely guarded, particularly amongst certain units, and satisfying some need to see what happened may put future operations at risk.
Furthermore, do we really need to get into the habit of posting trophy shots of our kills? No thanks - at least in my book.

- One of our K9 officers had to put down his partner yesterday, due to a rapidly developing tumor. He's taking it pretty hard & we're all doing our best to help him out.
For folks who've never worked with a police dog, or at least been in the family, it's hard to understand the bond - much more than that of just a pet or acquaintance. There are frequently weeks where I spend more waking hours with my work dog than I do with my family; and a level of trust and a bond of friendship develops which can't be easily explained. Especially when you consider that this is a partner you regularly trust your life to, who looks at you with absolute devotion, and who would sacrifice his life for yours. Losing a canine partner is just like losing a human partner for most officers, so it's a tough week.

- Looked at my calendar today and it seems my schedule is actually starting to slow down for a bit - either I've forgotten to write some things down, or I may even get a chance to catch up on things and relax.

I have a bit of a different view on the photos, but I agree that it's wise not to post them for the time being.

The fact that Obama is doing is collecting potential future votes for the liberal Democrats from the massive illegal alien population and their relatives. Obama and the liberal Democrats know that most illegal aliens are poor, generally uneducated people, from socialist oriented countries, who as such have historically been natural liberal Democrat supporters and voters.

In that respect when you hear liberal Democrats talk about "a path to citizenship" for illegal aliens, and then to allow their foreign relatives to come here and be given citizenship, you are listening to liberal Democrat code for eventually granting them all US voting rights. The potential numbers of new foreign born voters emanating from such a policy would be in the tens of millions, and would change the political balance of the USA firmly in favor of the liberal Democrats. If the liberal Democrats ever thought that more then a very small percentage of that population group would ever vote Republican the liberal Democrats would be calling for them to be deported instead.
If anyone needs any proof of anything I said, take a look at this black racist's blog, he's a white hater and was from the day he was born.

Not a fan of posting it to the public either. Maybe it is a show to the terrorists that still follow him. But certainly will only put us in the same category and enrage people.

Next thing you know...Obama will be telling everyone he pulled the trigger himself.
