“May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.”

"This report is maybe 12-years-old. Parliament buried it, and it stayed buried till River dug it up. This is what they feared she knew. And they were right to fear because there's a whole universe of folk who are gonna know it, too. They're gonna see it. Somebody has to speak for these people. You all got on this boat for different reasons, but you all come to the same place. So now I'm asking more of you than I have before. Maybe all. Sure as I know anything I know this, they will try again. Maybe on another world, maybe on this very ground swept clean. A year from now, 10, they'll swing back to the belief that they can make people . . . better. And I do not hold to that. So no more running. I aim to misbehave." ~ Captain Malcom Reynolds

Benefits package

Pretty much have to love a job where I spent the chunk of my afternoon shooting other people's ammo out of a full-auto weapon, and tossing the magazines around and generally abusing the whole package as part of a T&E process. Hard to beat that.

oh, and then coming home and building "training devices"...
And, seriously...use our good (only) silverware to take apart a magazine again and you're in deep doodoo. Just sayin'...

And the fact that you don't have to PAY for that ammo!!! That is the best part! :)

And you did what with the good silverware?!? You are lucky she didn't chase you with a kitchen knife!!! Don't ya know, the kitchen is OUR zone! ;)

FPS, in all fairness...the kitchen really is his domain...while I am capable in there, he is Master Chef in this house. Besides, I think using the silverware for tools evens out the time I took apart the bike's carburetor on the dining room table. Yeah...we're not "Normal"...

LOL. Yeah, I would definitely say it's a fair trade! ;) And very cool to have a hubby who can masterly cook for you!! :)
Normal? Who's really normal anyway! ;)

Thanks FPS - and my wife already covered the responses adequately.... and it's not like I was hurting the silverware!
