“May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.”

"This report is maybe 12-years-old. Parliament buried it, and it stayed buried till River dug it up. This is what they feared she knew. And they were right to fear because there's a whole universe of folk who are gonna know it, too. They're gonna see it. Somebody has to speak for these people. You all got on this boat for different reasons, but you all come to the same place. So now I'm asking more of you than I have before. Maybe all. Sure as I know anything I know this, they will try again. Maybe on another world, maybe on this very ground swept clean. A year from now, 10, they'll swing back to the belief that they can make people . . . better. And I do not hold to that. So no more running. I aim to misbehave." ~ Captain Malcom Reynolds

iTunes annoyances

- After all this time you would think that Apple could build a simple interface to let you look up songs by the title & match the info to your mp3 file without having to manually type it all in. Windows Media Player and RealPlayer have been able to do it for ten years now, get on the ball.

- Is anyone out there really reading a 64 page license agreement with an upgrade? If you want to impress your customers Steve put a simple summary at the front of the document highlighting the changes & let the lawyers enjoy the rest.

Truth: I have no idea what's in that license agreement. Typically I do read all the bloody fine print, but not on iTunes... especially just for the upgrade. For all I know, I've sold my children to Apple.

When it comes to Steve, one quote comes to mind... "See how I'm not punching him? I think I've grown."

I waited on Apple products for a long time and still get frustrated by my simple iTunes and ipod.

Yes, I'm the same way - love some of the stuff on iTunes & my iPods - & others have me shaking my head wondering if they made it annoying on purpose... particularly for those of us on Windows. Glad it isn't just me.
