Sorry bits of light posting - juggling everything, plus dealing with a major pain attack these past few days from the arthritis. Which has reached the point I #1 called in sick tonight & #2 went to the doc-in-a-box (for those who don't know me, that is a combo meaning I am not feeling well).
So... went and spent an hour sitting there... explained the history & all, including the fact that it was getting really bad & last time this happened then two days later I couldn't walk...
and the wonderful doc's response was "Well, I don't want to give you anything new, since I don't have your history & you already have an appointment on Monday with your primary care for this. We'll just give you a shot for the night."
Of the stuff that I already told you I was taking & wasn't working...
Yes, I was less than amused - no efforts to address the issues & help me get through the next few days, just a big dose of "suck it up."
Which is what got me here in the first place.
Anyway, sorry to whine, just one of those nights. Hope to resume interesting stories and posts soon, but if you wonder why I'm not full of good cop stories this is why.

Doctors in general are just a couple of rungs above lawyers on my social ladder. I know there's good ones out there, but I don't seem to have the luck to run into them.
