“May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.”

"This report is maybe 12-years-old. Parliament buried it, and it stayed buried till River dug it up. This is what they feared she knew. And they were right to fear because there's a whole universe of folk who are gonna know it, too. They're gonna see it. Somebody has to speak for these people. You all got on this boat for different reasons, but you all come to the same place. So now I'm asking more of you than I have before. Maybe all. Sure as I know anything I know this, they will try again. Maybe on another world, maybe on this very ground swept clean. A year from now, 10, they'll swing back to the belief that they can make people . . . better. And I do not hold to that. So no more running. I aim to misbehave." ~ Captain Malcom Reynolds

Ice Cream Machine is back on...

Hopefully at least.

After the past two weeks of way-too-early mornings & long hours, I have the day off & a return to a normal (or somewhat) schedule. So hopefully that means I won't be too insane at the end of the day to write & I can return to some irregular, irreverent posting.

Thanks for waiting around.

And in a separate note - the fact that they are trying a Three Stooges remake is an abomination before the Lord...

I understand being busy with work. My agency does not have not have a sign up for overtime, but it has an assigned rotation for on-call for shortages. I've been trying to get a little extra money to cover some emergency bills and I've been taking a lot of on-call.

They re-did "Footloose". Fine. Whatever.

They torched the sweet teenage memories of "21 Jumpstreet." Hollywood basterds.

Then "Three Stooges". And...AND...remaking "The Princess Bride"?!

Keep an eye on the horizon--the Pale Horse is comin'.

WHAT???? They're remaking "Princess Bride"? No. You just can't replace Andre's "anybody wanna peanut?" performance.

This just goes to prove my theory that the "writers" in Bollockswood have flat run out of ideas. There isn't a complete braincell amongst the whole lot.

The Three Stooges played by...lemme guess...Jim Carey, Jim Carey and Jim Carey?

Apparently some things *are* still sacred. "The Princess Bride" remake rumors are simply not true...

But I still can't forgive them for "21 Jumpstreet"!
